The brief was to open up the kitchen to the sitting room by removing a chimney breast that carved the space in two. This structural change opened sightlines and improved connection, allowing the kitchen to feel like part of the home rather than a closed-off workspace. The existing cabinetry was retained, while the drawer boxes were upgraded to a dovetail specification. New doors and appliances were added, along with a drinks cupboard and generous pantry storage.
The laundry room was reworked for better flow, while the rear entryway was redesigned to create a practical boot room. A graphite finish gave the kitchen a moody elegance, anchored by a white marble worktop for timeless appeal.
