Designer. CREATOR. Perfectionist.

From the moment I first picked up a pencil, I was captivated by the power of design to transform spaces and evoke emotions. That early curiosity became a lifelong pursuit, leading me to study Interior Architecture & Design, followed by a Masters in Spatial Design at Teesside University. Those years cemented my belief that good design isn’t about decoration - it’s about purpose, flow and dialogue between people and place.

I began my professional journey in 2007, working as a freelance 3D visualiser, turning ideas into tangible environments. Later that year I joined PWS Distributors Ltd, where I spent almost two decades shaping the visual and strategic direction of their interiors. My role evolved from showroom designer to Head of Retail & Commercial Design, overseeing projects that expanded far beyond kitchens - into bedrooms, home offices and whole-home concepts. Working closely with retailers, I helped develop design solutions that balanced commercial ambition with human scale, creating spaces that felt both considered and lived-in.

Detail has always been my obsession. The way light falls across a surface, the sound a door makes when it closes, the rhythm between materials - these are the small moments that define whether a design simply looks right, or truly feels right. My approach is always client-centred: to listen, interpret and translate their vision into something enduring. Now I bring that same depth of thinking to my interior design practice. Every project begins with context - the architecture, the landscape, the people - and builds from there. My focus is on timelessness rather than trend, on materials that tell their own story, and on craftsmanship that rewards touch as much as sight.

Distinction

I studied Interior Architecture and Spatial Design at Teesside University. That’s where I first learned to see the bones of a space - how light, proportion and material can change the way people move and feel. It was also where I discovered a fascination with the relationship between design and craft - the moment an idea becomes something you can touch, use and live with.

After almost twenty years at PWS, I wanted a new challenge - something more personal and closer to my own design aesthetic. My interior design practice is a space to refine ideas, take a hands-on approach to making, and create interiors that feel grounded and enduring.
